Welcoming Josh Sauerbier to the ActiveNav Team

At ActiveNav, our growth has always been fueled by two things: great technology and even greater people. Today, we’re excited to welcome Josh Sauerbier as our new Customer Success Manager. Josh has built his Customer Success career in information governance, specializing in supporting customers in the legal space.

Josh is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and went to school in Missouri. He began his career in Austin, TX with FileTrail, where he was part of a three-person customer success team. In 2024, FileTrail was acquired by Litera, and Josh transitioned with the team to help start Litera’s corporate legal CSM function.

In his role at ActiveNav, Josh is focused on building strong partnerships with our customers, moving beyond transactional interactions and helping capture customer feedback to support how our product evolves. Outside of work, Josh lives in the suburbs of Nashville and enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors—often fishing, hiking, or camping—plus road trips and exploring new places.

Why We’re Excited

At the end of the day, it’s all about our customers. Josh brings Customer Success experience in information governance and corporate legal, plus a partnership-first mindset grounded in listening, follow-through, and measurable outcomes. He’s also been part of building and scaling a corporate legal CSM function, possessing experience that will strengthen how we onboard, support, and grow with customers as ActiveNav continues to scale. We’re glad he’s joined the team, and we’re excited for the impact he’ll make.
