Active Navigation Release V3.5 of its Application Server

London 20th March, 2006 - Active Navigation, a leading provider of information management software solutions, today announced the launch of the latest version (V3.5) of its market-leading information analysis software.

Active Navigation's suite of innovative software solutions allow organisations to intelligently manage large quantities of unstructured content and V3.5 includes a number of important enhancements. The most important features within the Application Server are a far more flexible content analysis framework, designed to be extensible and allows rapid development of custom modules to access new forms of content store, to perform alternative forms of analysis of documents, or to support the creation of specialised reports on content. The taxonomy format used by the Active Navigation Server has been refined and now allows users to record additional notes for a particular category and tracks the date of creation and modification of categories to assist in the comparison of different versions of the same taxonomy structure.

V3.5 also includes significant web service enhancements and upgrades to its desktop editing tools, together with a number of improvements and upgrades to offer increased stability and robustness.
