Peter Baumann joins Active Navigation
London 14 March, 2005 – Active Navigation, a leading provider of information management software solutions, has announced the appointment of Peter Baumann as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective March 2005. Baumann will be based at Active Navigation’s headquarters in Southampton, UK.
Peter Baumnann is a technology and business information industry veteran with over 15 years of front-line experience in both the large and small business.. Peter has experience in a variety of business disciplines including Product Management, Marketing, Strategy, Business Development and Sales and has worked for companies as diverse as Racal Defense, Air et Chaleur, Bureau Van Dijk and Standard & Poor’s (McGraw-Hill), as well as a number of start-ups and web-based businesses focused on e-learning and finance-based content. He has extensive international experience, including postings in Europe and North Africa, together with experience of building and developing business operations in both the US and Asia Pacific.
